As he retired from the military, he was called to be co-pastor of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of San Antonio, TX under his long-time friend and mentor, Rev. Dr. E. Thurman Walker. He has pastored Antioch since 2009, after Pastor Walker went home to be with the Lord.
