As a child, Barb Bissonette's notebook was always at hand, ready to record her inspirations, which often took the forms of poems or short stories. As an adult, her desire to write a mystery took time to manifest while she pondered the hidden complexities of crime. The result? A Winter Town. Bissonette, the author of Among Little Faces, is currently at work on her next book, Just a Bit of Magic. She lives in Washago, Ontario, where she divides her time between working as a registered nurse, writing, and taking care of her three grandchildren.
