I had the time of my life when I attended Alabama State University as a student-athlete. This is where I made lifetime friends and lifelong memories through easy and tough times. These experiences made my college years all worth it. Although some of the things I had to deal with could have been less of a headache if I had known what to expect. Some of the troubles I experienced could have been eliminated if I had been abreast of the situation beforehand. Even though I was a student-athlete, I was not alone. Many students had to deal with many of the ups and downs of registration, books, financial aid, scholarships, dormitory, etc. This is an issue I see even today. Instead of continuing to watch this, I decided to do something about it. I thought it would be a great thing to put together what I call a "Blueprint" for high school students as they prepare for their years of college. It is titled "Are You Ready For College"

Are You Ready For College is a book consisting of everything you need to know to prepare yourself for college. Whether you are a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or have taken a couple of years off after high school, this book gives you a real layout of what to expect during your college years. It is never too early or too late to get the necessary information that will allow your college experience to be a memorable one.
