At Ashwind, students of all races and types excitedly make bonds to the newly arrived dragons, while Siona's brother, friends, and trusted adults are anxious about the whereabouts of the girls. Siona and Banprionsa are held captive by a mysterious, wicked old sorcerer who has a grudge against Ashwind and its inhabitants. A search party of mortals and dragons sets out to find the missing girls, but the land is large and time is running out.
