Michael Edwards is Professor of Classics at Queen Mary College, University of London and Director of the Institute of Classical Studies. He is co-author of Greek Orators 1: Antiphon and Lysias; translator of the speeches of Isaeus; and author of a companion to Plutarch's Lives of Pompey, Caesar and Cicero (also published by Bloomsbury).
