Author Biography
Ballet has been Debra Evans DeVoe's passion for as long as she can remember. She began studying ballet at 7 years old and has danced every since. As a child, she was a big fan of ballerina biographies, dance histories, and ballet stories, reading ballet books in bed until all hours of the night. DeVoe has a MAEd from George Washington University. When not busy with her second graders at a private school in Howard County, Maryland, she finds time to teach ballet and write about dance for various publications in the Baltimore-Washington area. www.dancingdoorways.com
