Author Biography

Dorothy Kelley Patterson is first and foremost a homemaker--a wife, mother, and grandmother. She is also a successful writer and speaker with two earned doctorates in theology. As Professor of Theology in Women's Studies, she teaches courses in theology to women at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where her husband Paige is the president. A contributor to numerous journals and periodicals, she is the General Editor for The Women's Evangelical Commentary on the New Testament and the Woman's Study Bible and the author of books for women. She and her husband reside at Pecan Manor in Fort Worth, Texas.
