by Marty Eberhardt (Author)
A Sonoran Desert garden hides deadly secrets. Volunteer coordinator Bea Rivers unearths more than she bargained for when a skeleton is discovered in Shandley Gardens' back forty. The bones belong to a man who vanished in 1969, stirring up long-buried secrets in the nearby town of Copperton, New Mexico.
As Bea investigates, she finds herself entangled with quirky suspects, illegal artifacts, and a past that refuses to stay buried. Balancing single parenthood and a blossoming long-distance relationship, she must untangle the threads connecting the bones to Shandley's founders before a killer strikes again. Perfect for fans of cozy mysteries, Southwest settings, and stories with strong female leads.
