Russell J. Atwater, bestselling author of "The Cowan Family Saga" series, delivers another classic western adventure of good versus evil.
Buril Templeton, an 18-year-old working on his parent's ranch, is devastated the day an outlaw guns down his pa.
Bound and determined to make a stand for law and order, Buril accepts a job as deputy sheriff of Dust Bridge, Wyoming. He vows to one day confront his father's killer.
His most precious keepsake is his pa's old trusty LeMat revolver, nicknamed Justice. Where most guns only carried six cartridges, Justice carried nine. Life and death is the difference in a land where every shot counts.
Buril's patience is rewarded when the outlaws turn up again months later. He sets out with the sheriff to track Freddy Huggins, the low down no good skunk who murdered his father in cold blood the year before. Freddy is slippery and conniving though, and proves a match to Buril's dogged determination.
Will justice prevail in this classic old west tale? When you live by the gun, odds are better than even you'll die by the gun.
