by The Keeneys (Author)
Winner of the Spirituality and Practice award for Best Spiritual Books of 2017. Climbing the Rope to God is a rare chronicle of the visionary experiences that introduced the Keeneys to an extraordinary spectrum of mystical wisdom. Every night for over six months they received visions of words, symbols, music, healing treatments, and knowledge of bygone mystics, saints, shamans, healers, composers, poets, and scientists. The daily record of these dreamt teachings eventually culminated in this one-of-a-kind guide to mysticism. An introductory account of Brad's formative spiritual experiences provides a background for the outpouring of visions that later took place, including the emergence of Hillary's visionary life. Climbing the Rope to God inspires and directs people of any spiritual tradition to the incredible mysteries of ecstatic spirituality. This book is a mutual and equal collaboration of Hillary Keeney, Ph.D. and Bradford Keeney, Ph.D., authors of Sacred Ecstatics: The Recipe for Setting Your Soul on Fire, Way of the Bushman, Seiki Jutsu: The Practice of Non-Subtle Energy Medicine, and Circular Therapeutics: Giving Therapy a Healing Heart.
