Author Biography
Doug Vinson was born and raised in Athens, Ga. and earned an undergraduate and Master's degree from the University of Georgia (making him a double Dawg). In addition to teaching journalism courses at The University of West Georgia and Radford University among other schools, he's also worked more than 30 years in public relations for colleges and corporate organizations. Doug and June have been happily married for 38 years and have collaborated on a number of writing projects including a well-received play, "A Redneck Opera." Their most enduring collaboration was raising their two children, Jess and Mark. The Vinsons now live in the south Atlanta area.
