Rebecca is an Early Childhood Teacher and homeschool mum. "I wrote this book when my son was 4 years old and just beginning his homeschool journey. There are so many books that reference going to school or getting ready for school, I wanted to normalize his experience and have something that resonated for him and his journey. I had so many beautiful images of him playing at our homeschool group meet ups at the creek. Looking through our photos from our visits at the creek I found Creek School writing itself as the beautiful images told the story of having the freedom to explore, take risks and learn alongside friends, I found the words flowing out to match the experiences we've had over the months. After much encouragement from our group and my family I have taken the leap and decided that Creek School should be shared with the world. With permission from our homeschool friends, I feel privileged to share our group experiences with you in Creek School."
