Author Biography

Vanessa Mooncie spent many happy hours as a child sitting with her mother and grandmother learning to knit and crochet. A multi-talented craft designer, artist and author, she studied fashion and textile design and later became a children's wear designer, illustrator and interior designer. Vanessa works with ease in so many different mediums - crochet, knitting, sewing, dressmaking, silkscreen work, print, jewellery and more - creating stunning and intricately detailed work. She lives with her family in a rural village in the south of England.
