Katzenstein's travels took him to thirty-seven countries over forty-nine years. What started as a way to combine his two passions--photography and travel--has grown into a visual chronicle of humanity. Steeped in the tradition of documentary photography, Katzenstein imbues his work with immediacy, emotional engagement, and a deep respect for his subjects.
