Author Biography

Babs Smith, along with family and friends, has circumnavigated Wisconsin's Door County Peninsula for over 300 miles, from Green Bay, up and through Death's Door, and down Lake Michigan to Kewaunee, along with Washington, Plum, and Rock Islands. She has chosen to share the adventure with you, so you too can enjoy the dramatic bluffs, hidden beaches, historic lighthouses, and the shipwrecks visible from the surface of the water. Babs has an easy propensity to saying yes to just about any adventure one of her brother's dream up. She is married to her husband, Mike, who indulges and lets her West wind flow, whereas, he steers clear and likes to stay well grounded. Babs is an occupational therapist by trade, so although she is the least skillful paddler, she is handy at the end of the day when any tendonitis muscle ache flares up
