Shawn william Davis grew up in the small town of Holliston, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Salem State University, and he works as a police officer in a small New England town. He earned a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College and worked as an intern in the mental health department of a city jail. He also worked as a police lieutenant at a New England College for eleven years. Shawn's background in law enforcement and prison inmate counseling lends authenticity to his crime thrillers.

Shawn is the co-author of the real-life WW II adventure, Never Surrender, with his Great Uncle and protagonist of the story, Earl Anderson. Never Surrender is the true story of Earl's extraordinary experiences fighting the Japanese in the Philippines and then fighting for survival for three and a half years as a POW in Yokohama, Japan.

Shawn is the author of the popular Serial Killer Series of novels. The first book in the Serial Killer Series is told from the perspective of a diabolical sex killer dubbed by the media as The Artist, who is based on the infamous real-life psychopath Ted Bundy.

The second book in the Serial Killer Series, Diary of a Serial Killer II: Ice Man, follows up the first popular horror novel by introducing a deadlier psychopath based on the notorious Ice Man, Richard Kuklinski.

In the third book of the series, Diary of a Serial Killer III: Reaper, the Ice Man has relocated to New York City where a diabolical pair of sex killers are kidnapping, torturing, and killing NYC's most beautiful co-eds. When the Ice Man's beautiful daughter, Rachel, is kidnapped, it becomes a race pitting NYPD Detectives and FBI profilers against the Ice Man to find Rachel before she is brutally murdered by her sadistic captors.
