Doggone Christmas: A Polly Parrett Pet-Sitter Cozy Murder Mystery (Book 1) - Paperback

by Liz Dodwell (Author)

A wonderful short Christmas cozy to make you laugh, cry and warm your heart.

Polly Parrett is juggling the care of her wheelchair-bound mother, her pet-sitting business and the sale of the family home. On top of that she finds herself having to deal with an arrogant but really sexy realtor, and Christmas is coming!

None of that seems important, though, when she finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation and must find the real killer before an innocent homeless man and his dog are wrongly convicted. Nothing much happens in the small town of Mallowapple, Maine, but with the Christmas holidays on the way it's a busy time for Polly and her pet-sitting crew. Temperatures are plummeting, snow is falling and there's a killer on the loose.

Author Biography

Liz Dodwell devotes her time to writing and publishing from the home she shares with husband, Alex and a host of rescued dogs and cats, collectively known as "the kids." She will tell you, "I gladly suffer the luxury of working from home where I'm with my "kids," can toss in a load of laundry in between radio interviews, writing, editing, general office work or baking pupcakes (dog treats) while still in my PJs. I love what I do and know how lucky I am to be able to do it. Oh, and if you asked me what my hobbies are, I'd probably say reading murder mysteries, drinking champagne, romantic dinners with my husband and yodeling (just joking about that last one)."
