Author Biography

Larry W. Caldwell (Ph.D., Fuller Theological Seminary) is Academic Dean and Professor of Intercultural Studies at Sioux Falls Seminary, as well as Director of Training and Strategy for Converge. He, along with his wife Mary, were missionaries in the Philippines for over 20 years where Larry was Professor of Bible Interpretation and Missions, as well as Academic Dean, at Asian Theological Seminary in Manila. Larry teaches regularly on Bible interpretation, contextualization and ethnohermeneutics (Bible interpretation done in cross-cultural, multi-cultural and multi-generational settings) at seminaries and training institutions in the United States and throughout the world. Larry has published several of his own books as well as dozens of articles found in many Western and Asian academic journals and books. In addition he has presented dozens of academic papers at missiological and theological meetings in both Asia and the United States.
