Christy Crews Kenyon is a mom of two amazing kids and an avid gardener. She lives in the great state of Michigan, just like Emma, along with her two kids, dogs Georgia and Emma, a cat named Madison, and a hamster named Mr. Buttons. Christy grew up going to the many lakes in Michigan with her family, where her love for water and nature began. In her free time, she likes to do fun activities with her kids, play with her two dogs and cat, read, and grow things in her garden. She hopes this book will spread awareness about plastic pollution in our lakes and oceans and inspire everyone to be environmentalists in their own corner of the world.
