Everything Good and Beautiful: A Devotional - Paperback

by Shareen Orchard (Author)

It's a walk through the dark that keeps us going or completely takes us out. This book shows you step by step how to walk through your darkness. I know this journey well. I'm legally blind. But the ancient prophet Isaiah tells me there are treasures to be found in the darkness, hidden riches in secret places. It all comes down to one word: vision. Sight is a matter of your eyes, but vision is a matter of your heart. Think of this book as your treasure map. As you travel through each day of this journey, allow God to sharpen your vision in the dark. You may be surprised to find that the Lord has something so much greater and deeper for you! Along the way, you'll meet characters who discovered a new closeness to God in the midst of their trials. You'll see their mistakes, and you'll witness how some turned their backs on God. But through it all, you'll find the surprising hope of God's goodness and beauty in the dark. These are treasures you will carry with you on the day when you step into the light. Enjoy the journey, and what you're about to discover. I was born in India with a Vitamin A deficiency which led to a diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa. I was declared legally blind at the age of five. With my limited vision, my life testimony is one where I have made a determined choice to look for the good and beautiful, even in the darkest of places.
