Author Biography
Ibone Olza es madre, licenciada en Medicina y Cirugía por la Universidad de Navarra, doctora en Medicina por la Universidad de Zaragoza y especialista en psiquiatría infanto-juvenil y perinatal. Ha sido profesora asociada de las facultades de Medicina de las universidades de Zaragoza, Autónoma de Madrid y Alcalá y técnico externa del Defensor del Pueblo español, así como cofundadora de El Parto es Nuestro.
En la actualidad dirige el Instituto Europeo de Salud Mental Perinatal y es consultora de la Organización Mundial de la Salud. Ha publicado los siguientes títulos: Hermanos de leche (2011), Maternidad y salud. Ciencia, conciencia y experiencia (2012), ¿Nacer por cesárea? (2005), Lactivista (2013), Psicología del embarazo (2020) y Parir (Ediciones B, 2017 y Vergara, 2021).
