Get It: A System for Situational Genius - Paperback

by Brett Alder (Author), Joshua Lisec (Author)

Can street smarts be taught? The conventional wisdom is that they're best left to our intuition and trying to explain them would only make things worse, but what if the opposite is true? What if there is a subconscious situational genius inside each one of us, but we've learned to ignore its guidance because we've culturally forgotten what it does and why it's important? Reinforcing this tendency, many disciplines argue that our intuition is full of biases, behaves irrationally, and cannot be trusted. Is that true or are they missing something?

Get It will take you on a quest of discovery, not only to understand why our intuition is programmed the way it is, but to use analytical tools to reverse engineer its genius and build a conscious framework for grasping and making the most of even complex situations. Are you ready to supercharge your personal and professional success? To approach situations like an elite racecar driver approaches the track, with instinctive brilliance supported by cutting-edge analytical insights?

The author takes a proven system for teaching street smarts, used to convert engineers into technical sales pros, and develops it into a system for situational genius applicable to any profession and circumstance. Are you ready to never not get it again?
