"God Said Not Yet" - Paperback

by Pamela Y. Campbell (Author)

Trying to catch our breathe is what we remember growing up in the hood and holding on to the little faith we had was all we knew. Have you ever had an encounter with your worse nightmare and woke up to find it was your reality. God speaking "Not Yet" is a story of four brothers who took different paths in life that led them all to hurt, pain, and anger. Deception, greed, and lawlessness captured these boys in the adult prison system at the same time. Explore the dynamic journey of each brother and the stories they tell of prison life and survival. Discover how prayer can cause you to pause for a second and hear from God and to understand when he speaks "Not Yet". This book is dedicated to ever parent that has encountered a love one that has become a prisoner of their own circumstance. Dominik, Charles, Deointe, and Andre choose different paths for their lives that caused the chains not to be easily broken. How long must parents live in the shadows of their children mistakes and how long must we beat ourselves up for their situations. God speaking "Not Yet" in this season has taught me patients and love and how to stay humble when trials and tribulations come. The storms did rage and the wind did blow, but I thank God for Jesus who allowed me to weather the storm without breaking. Never stop dreaming about the future of your children and never give up hope of what God has prepared for their lives.
