Grizz knew that Brooklyn was too good for him. He had proven that every time he left her because he didn't want to screw up her life any more than he already had. She wouldn't give up her job; she loved being a lawyer, even if it did put her in danger sometimes. When she found herself in trouble, her only thought was to get to Grizz. She knew that he'd protect her, even if it meant showing up to the one place she swore she'd never step foot again-his cabin.
