by Russ Pate (Author)
HEAVEN SENT is the inspirational story of Episcopal priests Bubba and Harry Dailey, who during the past two decades have transformed Austin Street Centre in Dallas into a compassionate and caring Christian community. Yoked by a call to serve the poor, the Daileys have touched the lives of thousands of homeless people by providing help, hope and healing. HEAVEN SENT is about answered prayers for new beginnings and about selflessness -- sublimating your will to God's will. This unique and compelling love story also validates the theme that as God's children and heirs, we are called to proclaim His glory and build His kingdom. HEAVEN SENT is a tender and touching call to action for Christians. It's a reminder to the flock that serving the "least of these" is tantamount to serving the Savior. (Matthew 25:40)
