The Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis offered guests some of the best entertainment on the Cape with singing waiters known as the "Inn-tertainers." Local author Christopher Setterlund shares the fascinating history behind some of the places that have made this tourist mecca feel like home.

Author Biography

Christopher Setterlund is a twelfth-generation Cape Codder whose roots go back to the second Mayflower voyage. He is the author of two books, Historic Restaurants of Cape Cod and Cape Cod Nights, both published by The History Press. He is also the author of three books in the In My Footsteps travel series, which feature Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. In addition to books, the author has contributed work to the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, Cape Cod Life magazine, Cape Cod magazine, capecod.com and travelchannel.com. Away from writing, he has been a WITS-certified personal trainer since 2015. He enjoys running and photography and is a lover of travel.
