Intelicious - Paperback

by Jim Peera (Author)

This is a deliciously creative and intellectually satisfying poetry book with over 90 original poems, art, and videos created by and for humans who value real intelligence!

The inspiration to write 'INTELICIOUS' was Artificial Intelligence. Specifically, the smart machines' takeover of the organic human brain to - shrink it, dumb it down, morph it into an emotionless, apathetic, unimaginative wasteland - and to then make a case to fill it with microchips and turn it into an enslaved remote-controlled device. What's even more bothersome and tragic is how in the name of progress, power, profit, and boredom, the techno-nerds have masterminded this self-hijacking of the beautiful human mind. No matter how flawed we all agree it is. So, thank God for true artists! Those who have not totally sold out and have the balls and imagination to create a new word that's intelligently delicious, and provide an antidote to anything that's artificial, superficial, and predictable.

In 'INTELICIOUS', Jim Peera poetically expresses from his fallible, but uniquely powerful human CPU to connect with yours; to make you smile, laugh, cry, think, question, activate your fast-fading creativity receptors, and ask yourself, "Am I prepared to extinguish my innate emotional and creative spark to the soul-less machines?" Whatever your answer is, you won't find this book not to re-engage the mind, refire the heart and replenish the soul. And it's not because it's written to be perfect in every way - but because every poem, art, and photograph is shamelessly imperfect in Divine order to showcase its raw, authentic, un-sanitized, unpolished, but high-quality level of creativity - that AI will never be able to replicate, as we experience what Peera calls this period of de-humanization: 'The Age of Mediocrity.'

WARNING: This book shakes and rattles the boxed mind and may not be suitable for highly sensitive, easily offended, less-traveled, and closed-minded humans.
