Joseph of Arimathea and Jesus - Paperback

by Emma L. Nelson (Author), Robert H. Nelson (Author)

This book is a bold and enlightening presentation of research findings about Joseph of Arimathea and Jesus, as well as a genealogical and historical investigation into their shared priestly and royal ancestry. It was researched and written by Robert H. Nelson and Emma L. Nelson, an experienced husband and wife team that has consistently maintained the depth and texture of their first book with each succeeding research and writing project. This is their fourth book in which they combined genealogical and historical research, and here they confront deeply held religious beliefs. The authors have researched and included three genealogical charts showing first, a line from Joseph of Arimathea into modern times; second, the priestly line from Aaron through Eleazar, including many of the High Priests, to Joseph of Arimathea and Jesus; and third, the royal line from David through Solomon, and the kings of Judah, to Joseph of Arimathea and Jesus, that chart also including the royal line through the Irish and Scottish kings into modern times. This book will enable you to learn what the authors have learned through years of research and study. You will then be closer to the historical Jesus than you have ever been before.
