Just How to Wake the Solar Plexus: A New Thought Guide to Vitality, Inner Power, and Spiritual Self-Command - Hardcover

by Elizabeth Towne (Author)

Just How to Wake the Solar Plexus is a concise New Thought work on vitality, self-command, spiritual poise, and the disciplined use of inner power. Elizabeth Towne presents the solar plexus as a centre of life-force, confidence, and constructive mental energy, linking bodily awareness with the New Thought principles of affirmation, serenity, success, and directed consciousness. Written in the plain, forceful manner that made Towne one of the influential practical teachers of early twentieth-century metaphysical self-help, the book offers a focused guide to awakening latent strength and ordering the mind toward useful, successful living.

Rather than treating spiritual development as abstraction, Towne gives the reader a compact method of attention, breath, affirmation, and inward composure. Her language belongs to the New Thought tradition, but the emphasis is practical: steadiness, cheerfulness, courage, self-control, and the conscious cultivation of energy. For readers of New Thought, mind-cure, spiritual self-help, affirmation practice, and early metaphysical writing, Just How to Wake the Solar Plexus preserves a distinctive strand of American spiritual psychology at the intersection of body, mind, and directed thought.
