The Spirit of Rebellion in Fire and Scale
The Rampant Welsh Dragon is a symbol of resilience, pride, and unshakable identity. Rooted in centuries of legend and national struggle, the red dragon has long stood as a fierce guardian of Welsh culture. This striking kilt pin brings that fiery spirit into Highland wear, uniting Celtic strength across borders. Cast in Scotland and built to last, it’s a powerful piece for anyone proud of their heritage—or ready to wear a bit of fire on their hip.
Common Questions Asked About This Pin
Where is a kilt pin worn?
A kilt pin is worn on the front apron of the kilt on the wearer’s right side, typically near the lower outer corner. When looking down at your kilt, it should be positioned on the right-hand side of the front apron.
Does a kilt pin hold the kilt closed?
No. The straps and buckles secure the kilt. A kilt pin may add a small amount of weight to the outer apron, which can help in windy conditions, but it is primarily a decorative accessory.
Which part of the kilt does the pin attach to?
A kilt pin should be attached only to the outer apron of the kilt. It should never be pinned through both aprons.
