Tommy Buttertin is different from the other kids in Griddle-earth. He does not talk. He might not look you in the eyes, and he relies on structure and routine to get through the day. Tommy's chance comes more quickly than expected when their city, Stove's Landing, is threatened by an Ice Dragon. With the rest of Stove's Landing encased in ice, Tommy, with the help of I-doll and Chris, must travel to the edge of Griddle-earth, slay the Icy Beast, save the kingdom, and prove himself once and for all.
