His curiosity leads him to stowaway in a truck and after being threatened by a vicious bully of a dog, he escapes into the deep woods where he meets a friendly armadillo, encounters a snarling Florida panther, gets help from a friendly blue-jay and finally finds his way home. But when his friend Old Duke is attacked by the bully dog, Little-Dog's courage rises up within him and he fights the bully to save his friend.
