Author Biography
Xavier Velasco natural de la Ciudad de México, hijo bastardo del Boom Latinoamericano y David Bowie, amante compulsivo de la velocidad, amigo natural de la especie perruna. Renunció a tiempo al ensueño grotesco de hacerse presidente de la República, entre otras intentonas fracasadas por eludir la quimera temprana de hacerse novelista. A despecho de tantos despropósitos, ha publicado las novelas DiabloGuardián(Premio Alfaguara de Novela 2003), Puedo explicarlo todo(Alfaguara, 2010), Losañossabandijas(Alfaguara, 2022) y las autobiográficas Éste que ves(Alfaguara, 2007) yLa edad de la punzada(Alfaguara, 2012); los relatos de El materialismo histérico(Alfaguara, 2004), el volumen de crónicas noctámbulas Luna llena en las rocas(Alfaguara, 2005) y el epistolario Entrega insensata.
