Author Biography

SANTIAGO LORENZO (Portugalete, Vizcaya 1964) después de una extensa carrera en el cine, publicó en 2010 la novela Los millones (Mondo Brutto), uno de los libros del año con un gancho cómico y un golpe más bien trágico: a uno del GRAPO le toca la lotería primitiva; no puede cobrar el premio porque carece de DNI. Desde entonces, ha escrito Los Huerfanitos, se ha deleitado con ábsides de catedrales y ha continuado atacando los vicios de la sociedad de la única forma posible: con la risa, el recurso de los hombres que gozan de una inteligencia libre de presunción. Su mayor temor continúa siendo caerse a la ría desde lo alto del puente colgante de Portugalete, patrimonio de la Humanidad desde 2006.
