Lunations - Paperback

by Garrett Mostowski (Author), Diane Glancy (Foreword by)

Lunations isn't just a journey into the abyss of space. It's also an exploration of human courage and vulnerability. In this voyage, you will come to understand that the depths of human emotion are as boundless as the universe itself, that cosmos exist within--and without--all of us. As the earth recedes into a speck of light, you will navigate uncharted territories of the cosmos as you delve into the heart and soul of a spaceship captain on an odyssey of human condition and connection. These verses illuminate the intricate relationships we share--with our planet, with each other, and with our deepest selves. They reflect on the echoes of our past, the pulse of our present, and the unknown realms of our future. Love, loss, friendship, trauma, hope--every human sentiment finds voice in this cosmic voyage. Lunations is a unique ceremony, exploring the creation of identity amid a complex network of relationships. It engages with the ebb and flow of life, drawing from the same cyclical rhythm of lunar phases, revealing that which survives the waxing and waning of space-time.
