This book gives children and students the opportunity to see pictures and words for many nouns. This activity contains 416 nouns, so children and students have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of nouns. There are 52 sets and each set consists of 8 words and 8 matching nouns. This book comes with simple but comprehensive guidelines on how to use the activity. Sets are easy to organise as each word and picture is coded, there is also an index for these codes at the back of the book. This activity can be used in a classroom, small group or one to one setting.This book was created by Lorraine Dunne. Lorraine is the mother of one boy and she trained as a secondary school teacher and Guidance Counsellor. The courses she completed include a B. A. in Humanities, a Higher Diploma in Education, a Higher Diploma in Guidance and Counselling, a Dyslexia tutoring course, a Diploma in Life Coaching as well as a number of T.E.F.L. courses. She gained a vast amount of experience over an eleven year period working as a teacher in various educational settings and with different age groups. She also worked as a Guidance Counsellor between two schools and a Youthreach Centre for two years. She currently develops educational materials and resources for children and students.
