Meet Jesus - Paperback

by Collin Monger Forward D. Whitmore (Author)

Every good relationship requires those involved know one another. Our relationship with God is no different and we need to know Him. He, however, already knows us. Jesus said God knows what you need before you even ask. (Matthew 6) He said God counts the hairs on your head. (Matthew 10) David wrote, "You have searched me and known me." (Psalm 139:1) God knows all about us, but people often know very little about Him. If you stopped the average person on the street and asked them to describe God, they would most likely be hard-pressed to answer. That is where Meet Jesus comes in. Through this book you will see seven miracles Jesus performed and seven "I am" statements He made, and all of it done so we would have a better understanding of Him as God. Growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing we can do, and to do that we must take the time to learn about Him, and what better way to learn about Him than by studying His own actions and words? Through Meet Jesus, Dr. Monger will explain these statements and miracles in a way that reveals the person of Jesus Christ so you can grow closer to Him than ever before. Dr. Monger is a pastor, author, and Bible teacher. He holds a BA in Biblical Studies, an MA in Biblical Studies, and a Doctor of Religious Studies with a focus in Theology. He is the author of The Pastor's Commentary: James.
