In my life, there have been many paths of testing and trials. I have walked them all with the belief that God is in control and that Jesus walked them with me. The mountain experiences have been amazing as my strength and beliefs were tempered by the climb. But it was worth every step! My views of what God wanted me to see were life-changing. The valley experiences have been difficult, with many tears and sleepless nights. The burdens are hard to bear, but from the depths of those valleys, God has always been near to give comfort and guidance through deep waters and troubling times. My friend, trust the Lord, whatever path you are on, because in His strength, you can do all that needs to be done! God bless! Being raised in a military family gave me a strong sense of qualities I would need in my life. The times on the Army base and the opportunities I had to be part of a caring and nurturing group left a distinct impression on my older brother and me. My father taught us about duty and honor and the importance they have in your life. Those traits have served me well in my walk with the Lord. It has been a miraculous journey, and I am amazed at God's goodness and grace with every step we took. My prayer for each of you reading this book is to rest in the Lord's loving arms as you walk your long and winding path with Him. Enjoy the views!
