by Hayley M. Morton (Author)
Told through the eyes of a child who wants a new pet, one that's rip-roaring fun! In her quest, we encounter animals different and strange, uncovering interesting facts about them.
Do you know how long a snail can sleep for? How are a lobster's internal organs different from the norm? What is unusual about the kiwi bird compared to most of its feathered cousins? What motor skill limitation does the kangaroo have?
A delightful story which encourages us to appreciate what we already have.
The purrfect book for all the cat lovers in your life, the young and not-so-young.
This rhyming story was originally drafted in 2013. The author met her husband in 2015, a cat fanatic who had never owned a cat due to allergies. When they moved from Spain to Australia in 2018, his allergies disappeared and they adopted a ginger street cat named George. Stylised photographs of George appear throughout the book, alongside more flat graphics of other characters.
A portion of the profits from sales of this book are donated to Paws and Claws, the organisation from which they adopted George.
