Precious Women, I've been in Women's Ministries for over 25 years, and I have heard the cry of my sister princesses for our sons, our husbands, our brothers, and our fathers to rise up and become heroes of our family and the faith. Sadly, we are losing our men of God very rapidly, and something has to be changed. Let us be like an "Abigail" and who she was to King David when he had a weak moment and was ready to make a huge mistake that would have cost him his future kingship. Abigail didn't speak to David's wrong attitude or actions; Abigail spoke to the king inside of David. The reaction and response from the future king to Abigail's timely word can be found in 1 Samuel 25:32-33, "David replied to Abigail, 'Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who has sent you to meet me; today you have saved my destiny!'" I am in no way condoning the sin or the hurt that so many men have caused women and families, but we need to do something for the future generations. So, it is with great honor that I dedicate this book to our men with this heroic wake up call. May every letter and prayer written and inspired by the Holy Spirit encourage and equip our men to win any battle they may face.
