Never Give Up!: Lessons The Lord Taught Me When I Wanted to Quit! - Paperback

by Mike Allard (Author)

For years, Pastor Mike Allard has told the congregation of Crossroads Fellowship in Houston, Texas, that "We shouldn't have made it." This book is the true story of his journey from failure to faith. It's the story of how the church overcame some tremendous obstacles - how the Lord turned a disastrous situation around. Its pages chronicle Pastor Mike's descent into a deep valley of depression as the Great Recession hit his church head-on in the middle of a massive building program! With millions of dollars owed and nowhere to turn, Pastor Mike turned to the one, and only one, who could change his destiny. His recovery wasn't easy. The man with a Midas touch, who had encountered success after success, found himself mired in the greatest failure of his life. This book is a great book for encouraging someone who has gone through or is going through a difficult trial that has no end in sight. It reminds us that the Lord is always there. It is for the person who's living in a dark place and who needs to know that the God of the impossible is still a miracle-working Savior. Nothing is impossible for our God! You will be riveted and touched by Pastor Mike's refreshing and disarming honesty and frankness as he opens doors to private rooms in his emotional house. You will enjoy the story as it unfolds, and you will rejoice as God's sovereign hand moves and changes Pastor Mike's story.
