by John Milton Hubbard (Author)

Notes of a Private is a memoir written by John Milton Hubbard, a soldier who served in the American Civil War. The book is a collection of Hubbard's personal experiences and observations during his time as a private in the Union Army, from his enlistment in 1862 to his discharge in 1865.
