Obumbuchi, known as Obum by all, loves bikes. He wants one badly. Kene, Obum's classmate, has a bicycle and a lot of friends. Kene lets his friends ride his bike. Obum envies Kene. Obumbuchi is a good student and an excellent basket weaver. His parents want to buy him a bike, but they cannot afford it. His mother suggests that he give up his playtime and make baskets. She'll sell the baskets and save up the money to get him a bike on his birthday; however, he must maintain his good academic standing.
