by Bô Yin Râ (Author)
In On Prayer, Bô Yin Râ teaches us how to use prayer as a path to inner awakening. He draws on Jesus's words from the Sermon on the Mount: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." (Matthew 7:7 KJV), and explains the correct ways to ask, seek, and knock so that we will receive and find, and so that the door to our inner self will be opened.
Bô Yin Râ defines prayer as an attitude of openness to receive, an asking for inner guidance or a means to send love and healing. Prayer must never demand an answer; instead, one should cultivate an inner calm and wait patiently for the help one desires. In this way, prayer is not only a source of strength and comfort, but also becomes one of many approaches to inner awakening.
On Prayer includes 22 prayers address that specific life challenges and desires, such as facing death, temptation, and despair, as well as joy and success.
