Author Biography
Brian Merrill is a math teacher at Searsport District Middle School in Searsport, Maine. He lives in neighboring Belfast with his wife Cara, a middle school English teacher. Brian has a grown stepson, Seth. On This Date was his first book, originally published in 2006. Since the original publication, history has continued to happen, both to the world at large (thus the newest version of On This Date), and to Brian. In August 2008, he published From George W. to George W.: The Presidents and their Cabinets. In December 2008, Brian published Boston Red Sox Managers.
