Readers are encouraged to "rip, cut, crease, scribble, disregard, destroy, share, and respond." Sources of inspiration for reader instructions trace a tradition of experimental poets and conceptual artists, such as Julio Cortazar's The Instruction Manual, Yoko Ono's Grapefruit or CA Conrad's (Soma)tic Poetry Exercises.
