Brooke Hartman is a community education director, college writing instructor, and author of multiple picture books, including Lotte's Magical Paper Puppets (Page Street Kids). She has served on the Alaska Writers Guild's board of directors since 2013. She lives in Chugiak, Alaska with her husband and their two daughters, who are Lilly and Filly in every way.
MacKenzie Haley is a freelance illustrator of many children's books, including The Ninja Club Sleepover (Page Street Kids). She holds a BFA in visual communication design with an emphasis on illustration from the University of Dayton. MacKenzie grew up and currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky.
