In seeking the intercession of St. Benedict against the forces of darkness, we turn to a figure whose life embodied the scriptural call to resist evil with steadfast faith. As Ephesians 6:11 instructs us, "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes." St. Benedict, through his encounters with temptation, envy, and attempts on his life, epitomizes the spiritual warrior, making him an ideal intercessor in our battle against all forms of evil.
