Author Biography

David Stanley is the son of Sgt. William J. Stanley. His mother divorced his father in 1960 to marry Vernon Presley, widowed father of rock icon Elvis Presley. David was just 4 years old, 20 years younger than his new stepbrother Elvis, when he moved into Graceland. For the next 17 years, David was a part of Rock and Roll's first family and the most historic concert events of the 2oth century.
