Starting with basic rhythms in 4/4 time, the book immediately trains the student to play and count rhythms in 2/4, 3/4, and 5/4. The latter half does the same for compound meters such as 6/8, 9/8, 12/8, and 15/8.Book Two is a progressive set of exercises that thoroughly covers Complex Meters. Picking up where Book One left off, Book Two trains the musician to be able to read and play in Complex Meters such as 7/8, 9/8, 11/8, 7/16, 9/16, and 11/16.

Robert Anthony is a Multi-Instrumental Musician and has worked with Gene Simmons, A&E Television, Friends of Distinction, Ron Keel, Andy Byrd, Billy Truitt, and many more. Robert has been teaching students of Guitar, Piano & Keyboards, Bass Guitar, Drums & Percussion, Mandolin, Music Theory, Composition, Aural Skills, for greater than 25 years.
